Shellian, LCSW Supervisee. ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
I have experience providing therapy to children, young adolescents, adults, and couples in inpatient and outpatient settings. My work is grounded in a trauma informed framework that prioritizes safety, stabilization, and emotional regulation while actively engaging clients through evidence-based interventions. I utilize play based and expressive techniques in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–informed skills, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing to address trauma related symptoms, behavioral challenges, and emotional dysregulation.
I work collaboratively with families and caregivers to strengthen attachment, support skill generalization, and promote consistency across home, school, and treatment settings. When working with adults and couples, I focus on improving communication, emotional regulation, and relational functioning while supporting clients in navigating life transitions, stressors, and trauma histories. I also have experience conducting psychosocial assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s clinical needs.
My practice is guided by ethical social work values, cultural responsiveness, and a commitment to meaningful, measurable progress.
