Sarah B, Resident in Counseling, ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and my goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to navigate challenges, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, relationship difficulties, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals with grief and loss, parenting challenges, and identity-related concerns. I recognize that everyone's experiences are unique, and I believe therapy should reflect each person's individual needs and goals.

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, family systems theory, and person-centered approaches to help clients better understand themselves, explore their experiences, and develop healthier ways of navigating challenges. I have also completed specialized training in trauma-focused parts work, personality disorder assessment and treatment, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
